Meet Our Doctors

Linda Anzalone, O.D.

Dr. Anzalone Dr. Anzalone grew up in Vacaville and graduated from Vacaville High School. Her goal was always to return to the Solano County area after finishing her education. She earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Optics from the University of California at Berkeley. She graduated with honors from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1986, earning her Doctorate of Optometry.

Dr. Anzalone practiced in large ophthalmology clinics for 14 years prior to starting private practice. She served as a clinical instructor at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry for several years. She was involved in laser vision correction prior to FDA approval, and practiced in a clinic that was involved in FDA clinical trials for hyperopic photorefractive keratectomy (PRK). She has cared for several thousand laser vision correction patients and cataract surgery patients. With her early experience in laser vision correction, Dr. Anzalone played an active role in educating many California optometrists by lecturing throughout the state to train her colleagues on the postoperative management of laser vision correction and cataract surgery.

Dr. Anzalone enjoys providing eye care for all ages. She enjoys working with children but also has experience in diagnosis and treatment of ocular pathology. She is particularly interested in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.

Dr. Anzalone also has significant experience with specialty contact lenses, including gas permeable contact lenses for keratoconus, scleral contact lenses for irregular corneas, and CRT lenses for the non-surgical correction of myopia.

Dr. Anzalone is married and has two adult children and three adorable grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys traveling.

Dr. Mackenzie, O.D.

Dr MackenzieAfter graduating from UC Santa Barbara, Dr. Mackenzie completed her Doctorate of Optometry at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. She graduated in 2016 with academic honors as part of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society and was granted the Dr. Benjamin Freed Memorial Award for strong engagement in community service. As a student she was part of VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) an organization that provides eye care to underserved populations around the world where she helped alongside a multidisiplinary team in a trip to Churuquita, Panama.

Following graduation Dr. Mackenzie completed a prestigious ocular disease residency with the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Hospital and associated clinical training alongside ophthalmology at John Hopkins Hospital in Maryland.

After residency Dr. Mackenzie worked for a number of years within a rural high volume general ophthalmology practice in Pennsylvania. She is comfortable treating glaucoma, challenging uveitis cases as well as co-management of refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, CLE) and ‘drop-less’ premium femtosecond cataract surgery.

Missing the California sunshine, Dr. Mackenzie returned back to her home in the Bay Area and has been thrilled to bring comprehensive compassionate care to everyone in Solano County including our Veterans in the area. She is passionate about patient education and providing a fulfilling eye care experience from start to finish.

Dr. Mackenzie is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association.

Camille Weissenberg, O.D.

Dr WeissenbergDr. Camille Weissenberg was born and raised in Sacramento. She graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and then graduated with academic honors in the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society from UC Berkeley School of Optometry with her Doctorate of Optometry.

Dr. Weissenberg is passionate about primary eye care. She enjoys helping people of all ages see better with glasses and contacts. She works diligently to address all the vision care needs of her patients. She is passionate about eye health, specifically working with patients with diabetes, macular degeneration and cataracts.

One of her research interests pertains to diabetes and its effects on ocular health. While attending UC Berkeley Optometry, she published a research study centered on improving access and the patient referral process at diabetic ocular health screenings.

She is also dedicated to volunteering in her community, both locally and globally. She has volunteered at the DSHP diabetic health fair providing ocular screenings. Abroad, she has led two outreach trips to Nicaragua where she provided eye exams and glasses to people in need.

“I enjoy volunteering at health events because it is another chance to connect with people in my community. I like to teach people about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so that they can enjoy a lifetime of healthy eyesight,” says Dr. Weissenberg.

In her free time, Dr. Weissenberg and her husband enjoy hiking, reading, traveling, and playing with their two cats, June Bug and Lucy.
